Our Story
YFC Elite Basketball Association wasn’t founded to be just another “meh” basketball program. Nope. we had a bold idea: high-level hoops + life lessons = awesome humans.
We started with a handful of players and a dream. Fast forward, and YFC Elite became known for discipline, teamwork, and actually caring about people — not just points. “Elite” isn’t a flex; it’s a promise. On our courts, elite means showing up, putting in the work, respecting the game… and maybe even learning a thing or two about life along the way.
Our logo? A crowned basketball with wings in black and electric green. The crown says, “You’re a leader.” The wings say, “Fly, kid, FLY!” And the colors? Basically, badass energy.
Over time, we’ve grown from one scrappy team into a full-on basketball family. We’ve explored different age divisions, passionate coaches, and all players officially registered with Basketball NB and Basketball Canada — because we like rules AND fun. We change with the times, every year brings a new challenge.
We’ve celebrated championships, hit milestones, and watched alumni take our lessons into the wild world beyond the court. But the real win? Seeing players discover their potential… and realizing wings aren’t just for logos.
Today, we still do it top-down: start with awesome coaches, build teams with heart, and watch magic happen. First dribble? Last season? Doesn’t matter. At YFC Elite, we play hard, we laugh harder, and we grow even harder.
Our Mission
At YFC Elite Basketball Association, our mission is to provide young athletes with a high-quality basketball experience built on strong coaching, player development, and community values. We are a grassroots program—free from corporate backing—where every resource goes directly toward supporting our players with the tools they need: jerseys, equipment, gym space, and mentorship.
